Good for when you’re looking for something and the power goes out and all you have are a dozen cameras.

The photographs for artist Erin Cooney’s Simultania project were taken last Saturday, but the footage won’t be on view until at least December.

It was an attempt to document the reality of hundreds of people from all over the world during a single minute. There will be a video installation and, of course, a website of all the footage shown together in sync.
